sorry for the probably stupid question but what do you guys refer to when you say various conversions?

I haven't spilled the beans.....YET

I haven't disclosed who is making the last playing cue of my life. But Lee is the man.

I talked to several makers here, and this guy talks pool and cues exactly like me (an old timer).

However, with his order book, I know NOW why it's a small wait:grin-square:

Mine is all custom specs, ivory joint, radial pin, 2 matching shafts. I ordered it 59", forward balanced, mild pattern leather wrap. I wanted a lighter color cue, with some darker inlays and rings. The rest is his canvas, to paint as he wants.

I want hit first, specs second, and design last in my playing cue.

I'll do a complete review, with pics, squirt specs, balance point, fit and finish, and bang for the buck here, when it arrives. This won't be any juiced up BS either, as I know how a cue should feel to me............If he comes near what I wanted (and I AM a perfectionist with my cues) then you'll hear that too.

I think I have a couple of months to go. :o
 
I've never been that crazy about conversions, but I've read so many great comments about Lee's conversions, that I ordered one a while back (Duff). It should be here any day (I hope) and I'm looking forward to kicking myself for avoiding conversions all these years.
