Anyone have the Player Ability Test books for sale? Videos are a plus, but I'm fine with just the book. You can bring the book to the pool hall and refer to it.
 
NO! If you download the NEW PAT test PDF files from www.pat-billiard.com, you are getting the latest revised sets of drills for PAT 1, 2 & 3. These revised drill sets are different from the PAT books and DVDs. You can use the new revised drill material. But if you plan to actually take an official PAT test, you are going to be tested on the drills that are outlined in the books and dvd's. Because the PAT examiners here in the USA are going to test you on the material that is in the books.

So I strongly suggest that you get the books and dvd's. You can get the books and dvd's from Bebob Publishing. Most of the other online billiard retailers currently seem to be out of the PAT 1 books and dvd's. Seyberts was offering a holiday sale on the PAT 2 dvd's that was a pretty good deal. And last I checked I believed that they also had stock of the PAT 2 & 3 dvd's.

Thanks for the clarification! I've been looking over the PDFs on the website and they're sufficent for my needs. I don't plan on taking the PAT but using the drills/exercises to gauge my ability and construct a more orderly practice routine. :)
 
Glad I could help. The PAT drills will definitely help in organizing a more structured training regimen to improve your skills. They helped me a great deal.
