LTS Dufferin Sneaky Pete

I have an used Dufferin sneaky pete for sale, just trying to make up some of the money I put down on my latest purchase. The cue has a solid hit and good for playing and breaking. The cue says it weighs 19oz but I'd say it's a little on the heavier side of 19oz. The shaft has a thick and what appears to be a pro/straight taper and a tip size of 13mm. The tip on here is a soaked and pressed Triangle. The hard tip makes it good for breaking.

The cue has been used so it has some dings and what not here and there in the butt. The finish on the wood collar shows a little splitting from the use. Both parts roll straight except when together, the shaft doesn't sit flush to the butt and is offset a little, it doesn't affect play too much. It's also a great cue to make a conversion out of (if you do, please send me pictures of the after product ).

The pictures are here: http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a7/SirNoobs/Dufferin Sneaky Pete/

I'd like to sell it for $70 shipped CONUS with the plastic joint protectors. I have a cheap 1x1 padded soft case if you need a case.

It's also a good cue for someone looking into cue repair/cue making. Make a conversion out of it for practice and you can flip it for profit.

The over-priced cue dealer here sells these things for 40 dollars new. It seems awful steep to price a used cue over the new price. Can you provide any info on why the price is so high?

Hey, PyroManiac,

Just thought I'd give you and update on these cues. The Canadian Dufferin Sneaky Petes that were made in Canada are one of the best quality sneaky petes' out there for the money, meaning under $150.00. These cues were made from hard rock maple shafts that were aged and turned over 4 years and finished dried and turned over 18 months on the last two final turns, that is why most of these cues hold up so well and maintain there values. Also, these cues are not and have not been available new for many years.
The sneaky-petes' you are talking about are not even in the same ball park as the Canadian sneaky petes'. The sneakies out there for $50.00 are taiwaneese imports that are mass produced and turned out start to finish in less than a year, they are force-kiln dried, which do not take the memory out of the shafts and most of these will warp, badly within a year or two and if you are living in any type of humidity environment, the warping can happend within a couple of months.
Just so you know, you can't compare the two cues with each other, you are comparing apples to oranges,
SirNoobs, good luck with your sale, most of these Canadian Sneaky-Petes' are going for $80 to $130.00 on E-bay. So his price is very reasonable, especially for one that doesn't have finish issues. One problem with the Canadian Dufferins were they had problems with the Clearcoats' cracking and crazzing. So, to find a Dufferin Hustler with the pin in the Shaft with no issues with the clearcoat and the cue is under a $100.00, this is a good deal.
Good Luck and hope this helps.

I own 10 or so Dufferin SP's and I agree that this price is more than reasonable. I collect older models and the butterfly cues mostly now otherwise I'd be very interested in this cue.
