Lucasi 8 Piece Spliced Shaft

I know that there are better shafts (314, OB-1) at a bigger price, but does this shaft play any better than the standard Lucasi shaft?

My playing cue is an LE 27 Lucasi with the radial laminated shaft. What I can say is I have a case full of customs, and that Lucasi hits as good or better than all of them! I have Predators, but never could get used to them, it's a different hit that that. Don't let the price fool you, my cue is perfectly constructed, and flawless. For $210....I never thought it would play so well.

Thinking I lucked out, I got an extra shaft which also plays exactly the same as the first. I would compare the hit to My Phillipe, or Schon, Richard Black etc.

i bgt one of the le127 with the 8 piece shaft. it is just great!! liked it so much i bgt an extra 8 peice shaft. joerackum.com or joerackem.com?? not sure on the spelling. joe or kathy....best price in the universe and they are about the only ones that have the extra shaft priced real right! neilsons billiards in springfield illinois. or is it nielsons?? or illinoise?? damned early here in kansas city. jerry creek
 
I have a Lucasi LE-33 with the 8-piece spliced shaft and it hits just fine. It's only my aim that's off. :p

I don't understand I've read so many bad things about Lucasi cues, yet it seems to be a well-balanced and nicely made cue. Maybe they were talking about the earlier models?

My guess is the WAL-MART price, I bet if they jacked up their prices like PREDATOR or MEZZ then they might get more respect.

From what I understand, the parent company of Lucasi, Ham Sung, is making the Predator butts and shafts for Predator now. They do everything except the tips and ferrules.

I did not say it was right. Just look at the way higher priced items are sought after (flaws included), burberry, gucci, donney@burke, polo, ginacue, SW, nike, etc...
