Lucasi Hybrid LC and LH (Marketing)

I have some questions about how Lucasi markets their cue shafts to the public. On their website they clearly defined what is a Custom and Hybrid LD shaft. It appears that they (Lucasi) are pushing only LH models. However, several online suppliers are advertising LC shafts as Hybrid.

What goes?
What is one to do when an item sticker does not match the actual shaft?
LC and LH can’t possibly be the same shaft?

Lucasi bears some responsibility since it’s their brand, and the price difference is significant.

Any help or comments are welcome.

Per my understanding LC were combined with only the Custom series.
Thanks for the feedback. Lucasi advertised the LH model on its website. The exact same shaft was on the pooldawg website. However, Seyberts is selling a LC model listed as a hybrid. Both list the shaft as “Zero Flexpoint standard on all hybrid.” The shafts are priced the same, detail the same, but most definitely not the same shaft. I posted pictures from both online vendors to point out the discrepancy. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry .. I am as puzzled as you are. I checked all my Lucasi Hybrid cues (have 3 - 2 play and 1 break) .. all of them have the LH. Just my take, I don't think there is any difference. I went to their website as well and they are pretty much priced the same, save for one. Your best bet is to call them or email them and ask what is the difference and what should you get?

Thanks again. From what I can gather - You’ve had the Lucasi cues for a while. That likely makes the LH model the older shaft. I’m being told (and from reviewing multiple websites) that Lucasi upgraded their model to LC, and incorporated the LH design into the new shaft.

Lucasi buyers should be aware that although the models (and price) may be similar, some online retailers are still selling the old LH model. They should note that the LC shaft is an “upgraded” model that has a few new technological features. If you don’t care - You might be overpaying for the LH. I’m good and ready to run racks!

Lucasi Hybrid Zero Flex Slim shafts take the performance of the Zero Flex technology one step further. This super slim line shaft offers all of the features of the original Zero Flex shaft with a smaller 11.75mm tip with a European (straight) taper for a true-to-aim shaft that provides the maximum amount of cue ball control.

Lucasi Custom Zero Flex Solid shafts come with an extra long 15 inch pro-taper, Zero Flex Point, Low Deflection ferrule
