Will a Macassar Ebony jump handle be too heavy for a Jump handle. I have this unfinished cue that did not pass quality control. I could cut the forearm and use that as a jump handle.

Core up into it as far as you can without hitting the joint pin and plug it with lighter wood. The nicest jump cue I ever made came from a reject forearm on a high end cue. It matched the high end cue and I sold them as a pair. The bottom of the snakewood points had a problem and I cut that part off and used the rest. You might could make a matching set also.

Pau Marfin is a super strong, lightweight wood. Core it with that and see what happens.

I had a forearm I turned into a toothpick on accident and it's my favorite jump butt at the moment haha.
