tony.....having been priveledged enough to be able to use and hit balls with all of the cues you have mentioned.....let me say that first they are all quality cues........now let me address a few points that may be of interest to you .....the sledgehammer while being a excellent jump/break is just that and nothing more....i have had several in my hands and didnt find them to be very consistent in what they are made for ,some jumped good and some broke well.....but never did i get both in one cue......next the predator.....i feel that it is a farce as all of the other predator cues.......it is nothing special......all they did was shorten the taper a small amount so as to stiffen or give more rigidity to the shaft.......now to the mace ,which i think is the best of the group.....first it is a good playing cue.....with rick being a player i feel he put alot into this cue as far as function goes........with a slightly hard tip you can break'em,and jump and play with it.....no other cue is more consistent in my opinion as rick gave thought in where to weight and balance....and even the taper of the butts shows this as the butt is maginally thicker and at the joint the cue is somewhat thin as to show that he naturally weighted the cue before the addition of the bolt......so when the cue is aprt to jump the weight is where it belongs in the but handle section....so to answer your question .....i dont think you could go wrong what-so-ever in going with the mace jump break.......take care......juston coleman
