Mach 3 Machine

What are you guys using for the programming to do points and other things on a Mach 3 mill? A friend of mine bought one years ago and has ask me to help with it. It turns on jogs in all directions. It’s no manual with it and I know nothing LOL about it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Those two ought to get you started.

FWIW, GCode can be fairly simply to write with NotePad - especially for something like point grooves - That's how I do mine. Don't get me wrong, it can be very complicated too.

Thank you. I use to write a few G Codes when I worked but that was years ago. I did a lot with Proto Track mills. Im not sure if this machine I have now even works. Do they come with any programs installed? My friend bought it about 10 years ago and just never got anything going on it. Im just trying to figure out what is going on with it. Thanks again for the info.
