My new Bob Griffin cue. Haven't had a chance to shoot with it, but will tonight. Two shafts, one with ivory ferrule the other with a lbm ferrule. Silver rings set in black at all positions including the shaft collars.

Looks Great! I think your going to be very happy with this cue.

I still want to have him build me another cue, I like the one I have but it really has too many inlays for me. I like a more simple design similar to what you have there. Ill try and get some decent pics of mine to post.

Congrats!!!

Woody

Looks good... Not typical Mad Bob ringwork. Did you design this yourself? Maybe he is into a different style these days? The one I played with hit really firm. The ringwork looked like a Coker or SW. I think it was ivory and phenolic checkers. Nice old yellow looking shaft on the one I played with. Wasnt the prettiest or fanciest but it seemed to be built like a brick shit house. Nice cue!

I asked for silver rings like that yes, sent him a design that I liked for the whole cue. Didn't specify how dark to make the stain, left that up to him and think it turned out great.

Cue hits great, little stiffer than a schon in my opinion which is what I was looking for.

Would like to see the pic's, and so far I love this cue. Hits very solid, much like my old schon. Just a bit stiffer even with the ivory ferrule on the shaft I'm using.

Love the cue, think it is the best hitting cue I've owned. Probably have about 20-25 hours worth of play with it now. Have let a couple people hit with it and everyone comes back with a smile and says "thats a very nice hitting cue". That and everyone notices its different from your usual work. If you've got any business cards send me a few and I'll pass them out for those that want them.
