I tried one today on my shaft and ferrules, and manoman they came out like new! I kind of remember reading a thread about them while cleaning up my equipment after a weekend of billiards fun, so I gave them a try. All I can say is try them out yourself. If this was discussed before....oh well, it needs repeating!:)

I just had an idea, I'm gonna go clean my It's George case with it now!

I've been using them completely dry and have been fairly happy with the results. I read in a post a while back that denatured alcohol with the magic eraser is the way to go.

Do most of you guys use them dry or do you dampen them first? I know using water can raise the grain.
