Magic Rack

Great for practice playing the 9ball ghost or for learning to cut break and patterning in 9ball....

As far as gambling or tournaments I guess if it is opponent rack it's better than getting slugged all night....

Prefer a triangle and rack your own....

For 10ball I don't mind it as much but in the Earl and Shane match I think Earl decided he didn't want it so apparently it gaffs the 10ball rack as well as the 9.....

There is only one negative. I can no longer enjoy tricking disrespectful young punks into slapping themselves in the face if there is no heavy wooden rack to arm spin. I would really miss the great laughs. Pool is a cruel sport.

Absolutely love it. After watching Shane and Alex breaking with it, I think it will soon be 11ball or 12ball. They make it look too easy!

I think I'm in the minority... I recently got it and, while it works, it takes more manipulation to get the balls frozen and gets kinked and out of shape fairly easily. For a "perfect rack" system, I prefer the Slug Doctor. With reusable paper reinforcements, you can remove it if you don't want to use it, or you can keep it on the table. After putting it on the table, you also have a 100% repeatable rack- unlike the MR, which is subject to user placement.

Neither is perfect, but at least for home use, I like the alternative.
My opinions only.
