I'm excited to announce the new formation of the American Pool Player's Association in Long Beach. This current expansion is going to be under the direction of the Orange County APA Operators and locally managed by me. I have been working with bar owners in and around the Long Beach area and have had a very positive response. We have 4 bars signed on with more to come. This will be a Monday night 8 ball League. Posters have been put up in these participating bars, Club 36/36, Shenanigans, Reno Room and the V Room.

I feel that with the recent incidents at the Nationals its important to say that I will personally handle all handicap complaints in our league. Mostly that involves watching... now once our league starts growing its difficult to catch everyone who wants to hold their skill level back. However, I guarantee I will apply my experience watching and playing pool to minimize sandbagging. The APA skill system is a good one. Its the play we have to manage.

With that said, we are going to have a lot of fun. We have some good bars, with some good tables. So if your interested in shooting pool and your in the Southern California/ Long Beach area you can PM me your information or you can call the league office direct:

Back in the mid 80's we had a great Bar Leagues in the Long Beach and surrounding area. Several bars had multiple teams on different levels. Good luck, hope you have half as much fun as we did.
