Some others that participated: John Doherty (JD), Eddie Mataya, Lance Mason, Al Perez. A very nice gentleman named John "Jack" Madden also entered, I think he was in a group with a kid named Chase (again sorry) who had a great match with Dan Louie.
Loy is a local player I don't really know. The descriptions I got he is an Open Player (in BCA terms). He put Marc to the B-side in a semi early round, and got to play Rafael for the point. He played and beat some real good players - Congratulations Loy! Excellent Tourny!
Marc had to double-dip Rafael. Having the point, Rafael had been inactive for a little while. Marc took the first set 7-2 I think, maybe 7-3. 2nd set Rafael jumped out 2-0, and looked in control. They both played some great safes and some even better makes. It ends up hill-hill with Marc winning.
It was live streamed, free by Rail2Rail, their stuff gets better and better with every stream.
