Early Manzino
I have one of the first cues Bob ever built back in 1995. I watched him build it in his little shop in Boca Raton. I have played with this cue for over seventeen years, and it is the finest hitting cue I have ever played with or tested. It is a relatively simple design of cocobola and birdseye maple (a beautiful and unique piece of cocobola) with a wrapless butt and phoenolic joint and rings.
I haven't seen Bob since the late nineties, but I have read that he is building very high quality collector cues and has won awards for his designs and quality of workmanship. Bob is a quality guy, miticulous and thorough.
I expect that some day my cue will bring alot more than what I paid for it, but probably won't happen in my lifetime cause I ain't switching.
Hope to run into Bob someday to show him one of his early ones.
