The Andy Mercer Memorial Tournament in Las Vegas!

It has been said by many that this venue is too small to accomodate a stream team.

Every year 64 of the best players from across the United States play at the annual Andy Mercer Memorial pool tournament at the Rum Runner Las Vegas on Tropicana. The tournament is held in March and is usually the weekend after the Doc Hill Memorial.

The tournament is hosted by owner Geno Hill and every year the board seems to fill faster and faster. Touring pros like Shane Van Boening and Darren Appleton are often viewed as just another match as they compete against some of the best "Bar Box" players in the United States.

This year's field will be one of the toughest yet, including one of pools hottest rising stars, Jayson Shaw, CTE/Pro One's Stevie Moore, Rodney 'The Rocket' Morris and many many more.

Here's the scoop!
POV Pool has been invited to investigate the venue for the possibility of streaming this event, live and free! It has been agreed by many that this venue is way to small and crowded, but one things for sure, POV Pool will be there to see if it's possible to pull it off!

This stream, if it happens will be LIVE & FREE! It will probably only be the final day, so please SAVE THE DATE!

Thank you Daniel!!!! I have a feeling your creativity will overcome any obstacle you may incur. I look forward to a sneak peek into the Rum Runner.

May the force be with you!
Kevin

I just finished participating in the Doc Hill. Getting a camera on table 1 where the finals happen may be tough. If you get the TD to play the streaming matches on a different table you may have a better shot. I looked at the player list today when we finished Doc Hill. Here's a few of the entries:

Ronnie Allen
Darren Appleton
Ramin Bahktiari
Butch Barba
Sal Butera
Ernesto Dominguez
Oscar Dominguez
Max Eberle
Walter Glass
Jeremy Jones
Amar Kang
Johnny Kang
Al Lawrence
Brett Lee
Stevie Moore
Rodney Morris
Ismael Paez
Brian Parks
Jayson Shaw
Josh Ulrich
SVB

......and many more. $3,500 added

Thanks for this... Geno is sending me a full list sometime today. I may actually scout a spot for the camera slightly further back than normal, which should create a sort of telephoto effect as well.

I am really crossing my fingers on this one, but if this happens, please spread the word because there is little promotion on this. Why promote something which may indeed, not happen right?

Daniel, you are the MAN!!! . You really keep the pool world interesting. My donation is on the way.

Great news. Even though I'll be watching at the event, it's great that it'll be streamed. Geno puts on a great event.

Did you determine which table number you'll be streaming?
