So I watched a video on Facebook and noticed that the masse cue had a dymondwood shaft. It makes sense.

Thoughts? What tip would it have?

I believe Florian Kohler's masse cue, by Mezz, has an Elkmaster tip.
There's a few videos out there of Eric Yow talking about his equipment, too.

My understanding is that most trickshot artists use a masse cue butt around (+/-)30oz with a short (+/-)10" shaft, using a soft tip (such as an Elkmaster).

He was just in North Dakota doing an exhibition, and a friend of mine spent a lot of time with him. My friend said he does use a soft tip, but I don't know what kind

Yea, it may not be an Elkmaster. That's just what comes on the masse cue, if a consumer buys one. He is sponsored by Kamui, so it may be a Kamui SS or something.
