I just swung through the local room, wanting to see if anything was happening. Generally saturday's are active with some of the further drives coming in to check the place for action.
Now when I say matching up this is just one of thos irritations and frustrations I have. There's a guy that we call Donkey because he's pretty much the biggest jackass i've met, anyway we've matched up in the past for some pretty good races and tight play the entire time. [ race to ten for 100 9-10 his way.] Anyway we've always played even until I had taken a slight break from the world of pool. Now that i've come back he refuses to match up with me even. He's asked me for the 7, the 8, the last 4. Now if I need to give up weight to play a good match that's fine. But i'll be 100% honest Donkey is up on me in terms of how much he's made on me. And he shoots about even or a lil quicker than me.
So just wanted to rant and get opinions. Is it me or is that crazy? The guy's beaten me a good number of times and yet refuses to match up even anymore? I've offered to play him even, and if I beat him by a decent set i'll come off the 8, and yet he demands that to get action i come off the 8.
oh well. There's always action to be found lol.
