Matchroom Should Gamecast

If Matchroom is as serious as they say about promoting pool, they should have someone streaming commentary and results during important events like Mosconi. Not visual, just texted in close-to-realtime to the Matchbook Facebook page or some other address. ESPN does this and more during NFL games; news orgs do it during elections and important political events: couldn't be easier. Describing the action to expand the event beyond those who are present and those who are paying for the video livestream gives more people, including more casual players, a way to follow along and get more excited about the game. Which is the point, isn't it? While I'm at it, I think it's atrocious, pathetic actually, that Matchroom doesn't even bother to provide match results throughout the day on their FB page. C'mon guys.

Why don't you contact them? Don't think posting here is gonna get you anywhere. I think you're being just a TAD melodramatic here. Atrocious and pathetic?? Seriously???? BTW, i didn't watch a minute of it and had no problem finding scores. Here and various FB folks kept me up to the minute.

Updating your own Facebook page is about as easy as it gets. Why wouldn't Matchroom bother with something so ridiculously simple? BTW, I think maybe just once or twice, yeah I think a time or two, people on this forum have made suggestions about how they'd like to see Mathroom improve things. Maybe you caught 50 or 60 of those posts? Did you tell all those people to contact Matchroom because posting won't get you anywhere? It's a forum for an exchange of opinions and ideas. My suggestion seems pretty straightforward to me, but I guess you don't think gamecasting would be useful to pool fans. Fair enough.
