I just met a guy who does buy outs. He has stuff stored in warehouses in VA and S. Carolina. He showed me an 1840's pool table that came out of a notorious black bar in Newport News VA. Told me a white had never played on it until 1989. He also said he had a 12 foot snooker table and a warehouse full of old cues. I am going to hook up with him soon and take some pictures of the tables and try and get a peek at the cues. This kind of stuff facinates me to no end. I will keep you all posted.

Heh heh heh heh heh...

My sister has lived in Edinburgh for the past 33 years. She went over there to get her Master's degree in English at the University at St. Andrews and basically just never came back. Oh, she visits every year, but fell in love with Edinburgh and has lived there ever since.

Eleven years ago she married a Scot. His family is an established clan and he wears a kilt quite often and "in the traditional way". I believe it's called "commando" in the US.

Anyway, I was the matron of honor at her wedding. It was November and quite chilly and raw. Didn't see the sun for 4 days. Flew out Wednesday night, got there Thursday afternoon, wedding was Friday, toured the Royal Mile on Saturday, and left on Sunday morning. Edinburgh Castle was just spectacular!! However, I noticed that whenever we neared a heat vent in the floor, Leslie lingered a bit. That's when my sister explained it to me that the Scots don't do underwear under the kilt. Okay!! TMI!!
