Wow!!! Unreal!!! I hope it isn't out of desperation or loss of market share that they're doing this!!! I've always known them to have a wonderful product and excellent quality control, but as you said their warranty policy is "getting kinda crazy.."!!! As far as this deal and customer service goes they would have to spot the rest of the Industry the 5 out and the breaks!!!

I like Mcdermott cues, but they have the ugliest rubber bumper I've ever seen. I can't stand them.

When I was at the BCA this year I was awed by the beauty of many of the production cues. I have owned Schon's for a while because I like the hit, but wow the cues I saw looked awesome.

I just got one "custom" McDermott and registered online.

I hope I don't need to "call" on the warranty. I don't think I'll be using the warranty for changing tips as cost of shipping back an forth and the time delay would not be worth it.

Price? Less than x-breaker :D

If i was looking to buy a brand new cue, I would go with a McDermott, and thats just based on thier warranty.

One of the pool halls in my town has a nice selection of McDermotts, a couple of them have price tags on them for 1000$, I wouldnt spend 1000$ on a McDermott, but those ones are nice.

You're right about the bumper ... not even sure if it's rubber. Seems hard enough to be a plastic. Anyone know where I can get a replacement bumper? Maybe I'll swap it with a bumper from my other cues.
