McDermott EK-1 up for grabs here. This cue is really quite nice, But it does have some minor issues. Such as, not perfect at the joint, a bit of peeling and some chipping. small scratch maybe two in the finish of the butt sleeve. the ferule is a bit thinner at the tip end than at the wood. that's about it. In one picture it looks like a crack in the forearm, it's just part of the woods character.
Both pieces are nice and straight.
5/16x14 piloted joint
Weight is 19.8 oz
The butt has a 2.5 oz weight bolt and weighs 16.02 oz
The shaft is 12.mm just below the ferule and weighs 3.8 oz
The wrap is nice and grippy just the way I like them but is a bit worn.
The birdseye maple is fantastic!
Overall a rather nice cue, Very nice looking!
