I am listing my McDermott D-18 for sale. Beautiful cue in excellent condition. I would give it a good 95% condition. All original the butt cap was replaced at some point. The shamrock logo is not on the butt cap. The cue has been in storage for many years. Rolls dead straight apart and together. I don't think you will find a better specimen. Four points Tulip wood with black veneers. Birdseye Maple prong. White with black speck linen wrap. Ebony butt sleeve with Tulip wood inlays and ring work. Black ring work bordering a Tulip wood ring at the joint. Phenolic joint with 3/8-10 joint pin. Matching ring work on the shaft. Butt 16.05 Oz. Shaft 3.66 Oz. 12.5 mm tip on the shaft. Hello. When you say the buttcap was replaced do you mean whole bottom white section of the butt? Does this have an engraved green shamrock?

I believe the butt cap was replaced because the engraved shamrock is not on there. Knowing the owner of the cue I believe Tim Scruggs would have done the work. Bob was a Scruggs dealer and Scruggs did his work for him. The butt cap looks perfect. Just the white butt cap was replaced. All the rest of the cue is original. A very nice specimen. I don't think you will find a better one. Thanks, Ron.
