McDermott D5

I am thinking of adding a D5 to my collection of McDermotts. Did they make these in a colorfully stained model? I've only ever seen the natural wood colors. (like the one in the McD timecapsule)

If you have one and can post or send me pics that would be great. i'm not 100% sure I am buying one at this time, but if one catches my eye I may have to pick it up.

To my knowledge, this was the only wrapless C or D series model?

I do have a custom D5 for sale currently.

And yes, the D5 is the ONLY wrapless Mcdermott cue ever made in the A, B, C, and D series cues. I have seen it in two distinct stains, one very dark with a slightly lighter handle and the one you see most often the lighter model.

I'm interested, but not sure it is in my price range right now. You mentioned it had 'bullet' points. Do you mean the points used on a D23? I actually have a D4/D23 custom myself. If you could post or email me pics of your custom D5 and what ballpark you are looking for offers in, I can see what I can do!
