Hey guys, I was looking to purchase a cue this week. I have a budget of 300-600 dollars. I was aiming towards the McDermott Elite Series and a few Joss custom cues. I know there is no "best" cue out there, but for those of you who have experience with these cues what are your thoughts?I am aiming towards the Mcdermott Bridgeport E model with an I2 shaft. Do the pro series cues and elite series cue from Mcdermott really differ in play or is it just simply added design/inlays

The Bridgeport E model is a fine choice, but I will admit, I personally like the Bridgeport C which is cocobolo. And yes, the price is contingent on the number of pieces used in the construction of the cue. As far as any difference in play, the steel joint puts a little more weight forward and gives the cue a little bit more sharper hit than the plastic joints.
