I'm not sure if this is a G-core or not, it does not say. The stick is a couple of years old, and I replaced the G-core with a 314-2.

I haven't cleaned the shaft up yet, and I also don't know how much it's worth, partly because I don't know what kind of shaft pre-dated the g-core with no markings.

Anyone know for sure, and have a fair price range?

This is a Quick Release shaft, and I'm ruling out that it is a G-core unless these shafts first came out with no markings or the G-core label was a sticker rather than painted on the shaft.

If Mcdermott actually made a standard maple quick release for their professional series, then that would be what I have.

I'm contacting them with these questions.

Well that was fast, from Jayme at Mcdermott:

"Yes, you have a standard Maple shaft with a QR joint. We can still make
these shafts for $115, but most players end up getting a G-core or i-shaft."

Some pics, this is the standard maple Quick Release from McDermott.

Asking $75, I bought it slightly used and played with it for about a year before replacing the shaft.
