I was curious if anyone had compared the Mcdermott with the stinger shaft to the jericos that come with the stinger. im in the market for a good break jump cue, and for about 90 bucks less i think the mcdermott NG02 is way better looking than the ones offered by jerico although they are a similar design, just different materials. i just wanted to see if anyone had any feedback about these cues. If the Mcdermott is as effective, id rather have it for the looks!! im not on this blog much so if someone could email me with any info id be grateful! rsmitty33@yahoo.com thanks!!

I have an NG02. I love it. It has a great solid feel and a really nice hit. The stinger shaft feels much better than the regular mcdermott shaft, IMO. Everyone that uses my NG02 likes it, unless they jump the cue off the table. You really have to keep the butt level or whitey will fly!!!

You play with your NG02?? I've got an NG01, I love it...had the phenolic tip taken off and a Samsara extra hard break tip put on it. Breaks awesome and jumps with ease...but I'd never try and run a rack with it...
