Anyone know much about these? I captain a locoal APA team and have a player that wants to get her first cue and was thinking about getting a McFarland, I know nothing about them, where they are made, warranty, overall quality and durability etc. I'm thinking they are made in asia because of the prices, I kinda doubt they are actually produced in scottland at the entry level prices they are offered at. Any input/user feedback would be great. My personal suggestion to her was any Mcdermott under $200, great cues, and excpetional warranty/maintence. Thanks guys.

We just recently put a few on the rack in the store. I hit with a couple. They hit ok. pretty good production quality, ie. shaft match and inlays being flush. My only concern is the shaft has no collar on it. It is basically like a sneaky pete. Seems you'd have to be careful if you were going to break with it about putting side pressure on the joint.
