Mechanics, What do you think of a Brunswick Prestige

Is it worth it for an accomplished player to have in their home?
It looks nearly like a Gold Crown but without the pocket Irons, or whatever their called.

I like the look but how's the build?

The price is right as they say but who wants a POS when you know what's right and wrong.

Asking for a friend. LOL
That's actually the truth. Have no room for a 10' and a 9' table in my house unless I tear out my basement.

Personally, I could care less for the look.

Set up by the right mechanic, it can play as good as a Brunswick Century/ Centurion or Metro....

I would make someone pay me to take it out of their house, even if the table were free!

If you like the look and can get it and be under $2000k Set up by a decent mechanic with simonis, Do it.

After some searching it seems I was given the wrong name for this table.
Here's a pic of the table. I can't find anything like this one.

We need a pic of the legs and blinds. There a few different models that used that top setup like that, Formica, no pocket castings with aluminum trim and light colored pocket liners.

You are a serious player, so don’t think you will be satisfied with that one. That one may not even be slate, if it does it’s probably thin, like 3/4”.

The blinds look recessed, so that would lead me to think it could be a Celebrity from the 60’s, not much of a players table, but in good shape those are quite the novelty collectible.

LoL Serious Player. Ya I like 3C. Can't make a ball on a pocket table.

The table is broke down and haven't seen anything in person.

Guess I gotta go and evaluate what's there. I've done enough table mechanic'n to be dangerous but maybe I can at least establish the frame is good or not. Nearly all my experience is on Old T-Rails and Modern European Carom tables.

The second table you posted is not desirable either. I am pretty sure its a "centennial" that came out in the 60's. I would not waste time, especially if you are a 3 cushion player!!!
