Melissa mentions having had a mentor. That was Andy Hudson, who died about three years ago. Andy was among the great gentlemen of the game, a simple church-going guy who played anybody who came through town -- usually to their sorrow.

Somewhere on this forum is an obituary she wrote about Andy, but I can't find it right now.

Nice interview of Melissa. In the context of the Earl/Shane sharking controversy, I thought the following quote was amusing:

BH: Do spectators ever yell out before a shot?

Little: No sharking. That's a shark move, and in pool that's a big no-no. We're so disciplined in some respects, but any distraction to a pool player can set him off.​

Us pool players NEVER shark each other!
