Merry Christmas to all you who keep the tables rolling! I want to thank you for the information here. My wife and I are looking for a new house this year and the deal is she gets a nicer kitchen and I get a rec room that is at least 20'x20'. You can imagine my plans, but thanks to all of you here, here are the details.
I'm looking and waiting for an older GC. When I get it the plan is to have one of the mechanics here refurbish it for me and 'bring it up too snuff' ( frame and rail mods, new cloth, new cushions, etc. whatever it takes). Choosing the GC means that I'll have a large selection of tables that are well known by the mechanics and I hope this gives me the best chance of ending up with a top quality table.
