Banks was visiting family near here, and made the time to drive to my home town and play some pool with me. We met at the new pool room here that just opened a couple weeks ago, with their 9-foot Diamonds. Banks and his lovely wife took turns beating me around the table, despite protestations about how they usually play on 7-footers :p

Had a great time visiting, chatting and playing pool. Banks was gonna show me how to bend a bank shot, but somehow we never got to it :)

He even helped the owner diagnose the trouble they were having with one of the tables ball return.

Great night. Very cool meeting up with someone from AZB in the real world.
 
Banks is a bit modest when he talks about how he plays...
....now we know...
...man's a coast to coast road player.
 
Sounds like a good time:thumbup: There's a lot of guys I'd like to meet on this site. Met Philly the other night at....you guessed it- classic billiards in phoenixville, next door to the expo. Great room, tables, and owner.

We can be in complete agreement on one thread and hate eachother on another. I still will forget all that garbage and love my fellow AZ'er.

Glad you made it over to Classic and nice meeting you. Jason, you play a very serious accomplished game. You have a great stroke. That being said I'll take the 8 in a race to 7 the next time we meet up. LOL
