Meucci black dot shaft delamination

Has anyone had a Meucci black dot shaft delaminate? Do you think it can be sent back to Meucci as a defective shaft?

I would think this shaft seen some water.

Cue has been in Arizona the whole time and belongs to a 92 year old. He wanted me to fix it. Looks like i will make a new shaft with the joint and rings. Unless it can be returned.

He will be better off with a good maple shaft I think, the blackdots gave alot of trouble in my area with warping and I've seen 2 delaminate. Last I read here on AZ it was taking several years to get any work done from meucci.--Leonard

I have had to recreate these twice. One was dog chew toy. The other was separated. Each time I bought a flat laminated shaft blank from -----( Chicago) and saved the rings and dot.
