The ferrule on my Meucci Carbon Fiber Pro shaft plays great and stays perfectly clean. I’ve played around with several ferrule material types on modern LD shafts (both CF & maple) and am currently using 1/2” Tomahawk ferrules, which are great, but seems they all get some level of blue streaks & stains. Whatever material Meucci uses on their CF Pro is great, seems to be a lightweight composite like ABS, but shines up smoother and stays perfectly clean, almost like older ivory ones do. Not a major deal, but I’m a bit OCD and like my ferrules clean as possible.
Does anyone know what material the ferrules on the CF Pro are made from? I called Meucci’s main number & waited for a while on hold, and sent email a while back but no response yet so thought I’d try here to see if anyone might know.
