Meucci CF Shaft on an Older Butt

I have a Gambler 2 from the 90's. I do enjoy playing with it but I also want to pair it with a CF shaft. I tried my Cuetec Cynergy but it leaves a lip which can throw my shot as I like to have my chin on the cue when shooting.

So I thought I may look in to the Meucci Pro CF.

I was hoping that it would sit plush but thought I would ask around the community to see if anyone has tried it?

I have messaged Meucci and Budget Billiards but they haven't replied yet.

They'll make one with rings to match. I've hit both the gen1 and current gen2's and thought both played fine. gen2's have a tad longer taper which i liked.

Awesome, thank you. Unfortunately my Gambler 2 butt is 0.8125 so I think that this may leave a lip too.
