Meucci Cues - Never seen one in person (at least not up close)

I'm thinking about getting one, obviously I'll take a closer look and try one before buying, but what do you guys think of them.

Also what's with the laminated irish linen... So basically it'll feel like a cue with no wrap, right?

The cue I'm looking at is the Meucci Patriot series 5.

The cue I'm looking at is the Meucci Patriot series 5.

You would actually be better off trying to find a nice old Meucci Original. The overall quality and playability is much better in these older cues.

If you do a search in the Main section of the forums for Meucci, you will see the many comments concerning the newer cues versus the older ones. Do the research first, and make a more informed decision before spending your hard earned cash.

Yes, the finish over the linen wrap mimics the feeling of a wrapless cue. It's kind of a Meucci thing, they've been doing it for many moons now.
