Can someone tell me what material was used on a 1970s meucci ST3? Also any sources still out there?

If this material is no longer available what is the closest replacement?

Not 100 percent on the material, but I have some 1" high action ferrules that are similar to meucci's. Are you asking it of curiosity, or looking to purchase?

When it gets narrowed down I would purchase. Also I have only been doing repairs, conversions, and builds for about 7 or 8 years. I don't have the database built up on the older cues that a lot of the makers here have. So that's the main reason for this post.

You are not going to find the same material as the old stuff unless someone has some of the older material. I carry the new material, and it is actually a little stronger than the old material. It is not as yellowish in color as the old stuff, but it is not super white either.
