Meucci joint???

Hello asking for a friend.
He is thinking of buying a new meucci, he's concern is he don't know if the fitting between shaft and butt is tajt?

Is meucci joint metall to metall, or metall into wood?

Please let me know what you think about meucci joint.
And sorry for my bad English, i hope you understand my question.

If your asking if the pin is metal or wood, it's metal. Butt and shaft meet flat face wood to wood. The pin threads into a brass (or other metal) insert into the butt. Any new cue from a reputable maker should have a secure fitting joint.
