Meucci Original MO-11 (white)

In my searches I cant find much on this cue. I know it is a Meucci MO-11 but I only see pics of the black one. I have had it since the early 90s. I am trying to decide whether to have it repaired or leave it as is. It has only a couple of minor issues. There is a small separation between the joint and joint collar and there is some cracking on the checkered collars. The plastic has bubbled slightly in a couple of places over the gold overlays. The butt end rolls straight and the both shafts roll perfectly straight. But, there is a slight wobble when either shaft is on it. I think this is caused by the problem at the joint. I am not really sure what it is worth as it sits and am curious if repairing will increase or decrease the value.

Meucci

I would have it repaired and I would contact Scott Erwin, his dad was the shop foreman for meucci for about 18 years. He may have original parts to fix some of the cracked ones. He may be able to bring it back to original. I think in Mint Original condition it could bring $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 but in this condition your cue might bring $800. This is a highly sought after Meucci to collector's. Good Luck

Good advice. Value is probably more around 1200-1400 spruced up really nice. To preserve condition and maximize value, you need to have the work done by the right cuesmith. My suggestion would be Ryan @ Muellers for the repairs....aka 'ratcues' on here. He's nothing short of a miracle worker on old Mooch's. I would even want some matching ringwork in the collars of the second shaft.

I edited my post to mint original condition 1,800 - 2,000. That's my opinion.

Thanks for the info. I will check with these guys on getting repaired. Any idea how many were made in white?
