I know a lot of people have beaten em down on the forums.
I play a black dot, power piston demo cue. Have for 7 years I think. Left in my car in Central Michigan, year round for the first four years, played all the time(still do).
To this day, nothing, no problems whatsoever, zero warp, ands that's even after a water incident on the old table that stood for four hours. I like the black dot shaft, to me its like playing w forged irons-instant feedback.
I have a hof-1 w red dot too. Nice feel there too, more traditional feel.
Now I can get off my box.
It doesn't matter where that dot is, don't think about it. I thought maybe its supposed to be a certain way on certain shots when I got my first cue and instantly upon starting to play thought, that would just be too much attention to be paid to the cue during play and forgot about it. Not only that, I thought about how the cue tip would get worn in if always shooting the same.
