all I can say is wow!
I mainly play 9 ball, and I used to break with either my player, house cue, or some cheap break cue I found or bought. Never had a chance to break with any Predator BKs.
Then my buddy bought a Mezz PB 1. It was amazing. out of 10 breaks, I made at least 1 ball 7 times, but more importantly I was able to park the ball right in the middle.
It seems there is more control and feedback with this break cue, even though there's a phenolic tip. I was also breaking with about 60% effort (since it wasn't my cue).
I went ahead and bought one myself later that night
My friend had the black mezz, and I bought the brown. The wood have very good character and it bright (not bad for a laminated butt). It has me thinking about buying a mezz cue now.
Just a few more thoughts, I was on the wall between buying this and buying the BK3. The PB1 sells for $331 on a lot of websites (I ordered this via amazon through ozone billiards).
You can't beat that.
