I bought a Mezz break cue about 2010, 2 yrs later the shaft SPLIT on 2 sides about 6".
So Mezz sold me a PB II shaft @ 25% discount. THAT shaft just split as well last week.
The original factory tip SPLIT, I didn't notice it. The I see that the shaft is split on 2 sides!
This factory tip was not THAT low. Or I'd have replaced it. I've done tips for 30 yrs. Never had ONE tip ever come off any cue I've ever done for me or any customer.
Seems strange the PB II has almost no ferrule, just a black disk. Ferrules take up some of the impact on the shaft, correct?
So I'm done w/ Mezz break cues.
