Mezz united on Joss 5/16-14 pin

I tried the search function but came up with mixed results so sorry if this has been asked before. Does the Mezz united shaft fit on a Joss butt 5/16-14?

I was thinking if it doesn't I could just get the wavy joint and stick a 5/16-14 insert in there but don't want to do any extra work if I don't have to.

Mezz United shafts use a insert that has a nylon plug in the back, so if you want to use your Mezz shaft on a Joss butt, you need to first drill with a 1/4" drill, then tap with a 5/16-14 tap, then it will work.
