Mezz vx 700 vs classic mcdermott shaft

Hello!
I'm thinking of buying a mezz vx 700 shaft for my old mcdermott cue. I recently bought a G-core shaft, and I think it hit really nicely. The only thing I don't like about the G-core shaft is its weight 100g=3.5oz the balance of the cue feels a bit of compare to when I have the original shaft on. 108g=3.8oz that maybe don't sound like too much of a different, but I can tell you it makes a huge difference.
Another thing that makes a huge difference is that it's much easier to move the ball around with the G-core shaft. But for me the most important thing is that the cue has the right balance.
I read in a another thread that the mezz vx 700 shaft is 4.2oz witch sounds a bit heavy (please correct me if I'm wrong) But I think I would like the overall balance if I had this shaft on (I like to feel the shaft/weight in my left hand when I'm playing) unfortunately we don't have a cue store in Sweden where you can try out different shaft, so that's why I'm asking you guys/girls.
1. What is your experience with the vx700 shaft?
2. Mezz claims that the shaft is a LD shaft. Is this true?
3.do you think it will preform equal to my orginal mcdermott shaft? (Maybe hard to answer)
4.Is the vx700 a stiff shaft?

And I'm sorry for my bad English, but I hope you understand where I'm going with my thoughts.
Regards Ronnie
