Wow, is the only thing I can say about this shaft. I previously played with mainly a Z2 for the past 5 years. I've also owned a 314-2, Z3. I actually like the Z2 better than the Z3, but what can I say, predator has the best marketing in the industry.

I've been playing with my new WX900 shaft for about a month now. I've waited a month to post a review because I didn't want the excitement of a new shaft to influence my review. This is the first low deflection shaft that actually feels like a solid shaft. I don't know what Mezz has done but I'm ditching my Predator shafts for for these. .

The shaft is 12mm. The deflection is less than a 314 and just slightly more than the Z2. I feel like I can get more action on the ball with less effort. Also I love the joint system on the Mezz Cues better than that uni-crap that always seems to come loose on me. the joint is snug and gives for great feel. Overall I'm happy with my Mezz cue. It feels like an overall better product than those cheaply made cues Predator has been making over in China. All your DOING IS paying for is the name and not craftsmanship. Even my buddy's OB classic shaft play better than Predator and at least they're made in the USA.

So you changed only the shaft, or the butt also?
I'm playing with a Z2 shaft for 2 years, and I want to try another LD Shaft with 12.5-12.75 tip (not 314.)

I personally have played with the majority of the LD shafts and would recommend you look at the Meucci Pro shaft. I have sold them to many clients and everyone of them absolutely love them. The tip diameter is 12.5mm with a 14" pro taper. For more information please click the link below. Also feel free to call me toll free to discuss this or any LD shaft in more detail.

I'm currently going back and forth between the 700, 900 and the jacoby edge hybrid. Its weird that on different days I love different shafts. One day I swear the only thing I will play with is one of the mezz shafts but on other days the jacoby feels better...

Thanks for the post. I play with a Predator Z2 now and recently order a custom cue that is not being finished at the time promised so, I was looking for inputs on Mezz and OB cues.
