Did anyone else see that Mickeys closed. I was there not that long ago and went last night and they are shut down. Anyone know why?

Family just wanted out. Its been on the market for a while with no takers so they closed it down.

They are done. Owner started selling off all tables last November.

I think we may be in a new time. I have had three pool rooms and it was kind of fun at the time and I made money. I don't think there is a way I would have any interest in being in the business today.
In fact before the pandemic when we were still going to pool rooms my wife and I often commented to each other how we would not take the place for a gift. It is not a very good business anymore I don't think.
A lot of guys think because they like to play pool they would like to own a pool room. One has little to do with the other. Same with building cues. Both are jobs.

That's a bummer. Need a big corp like stations casino to build a pool hall at their bowling alley. Never happen but I can dream.
Sold the GC's for 500/ea. A buddy tried getting one but they got snapped up quick. I guess.
