do the pros really need a Mcdonald's type fast food microphone fanny pack sticking out of their back pocket? what do we, the auidence need to hear from a pool player? the answer= NOTHING! i believe the most earth shaking sentence we ever heard in the 20 years of being miked was this "there is a hair on the cue ball" WOW, that was worth being wired up for!!!
 
eh not so much. i don't need to hear mike sigel talk to himself, or vivian whistle, or c.j. wiley complain, he could hear hopkins comments, or jeanette ask "do i still have a time out?" all of this is non-sense, why not just interview them after the match for 20 mins, like they do in great britian?
