This is a mid-80s David Kersenbrock. The cue was recently refinished and authenticated by David. This is not a southwest that was possibly made by David. This cue was confirmed by both David and Ed Young that is was absolutely made by David with David's tools.

More importantly this cue is of the hard to find lighter weight and was made originally with a thinner butt. This cue is not only rare but a tremendous player. It is 6 points of Gonçalo Alves into a niece piece of Birdseye. David put on a new black leather wrap which I don't like personally.

The cue comes with 4 shafts, one was just made by DPK with his original taper and with matching original old stock linen- test hit only. The other 3 shafts all have original micarta ferrules although one shaft is likely a SW but a100% match. I did not have David do anything with the shafts, they are straighter than one would expect for a this cue of this age and has 30 years of seasoning and play on them. To me they all felt and hit great so I left them alone. Butt is in at least 95% condition.

The cue is in great shape with the only noticeable flaw is the little spot on the butt in the linen. is a nick in the linen only. I have a receipt and verification from Ed. The price is $5,000 net to me which includes overnight shipping. No trades please.

Butt 15.3
New shaft 3.7 12.7mm
3.5 12.75
3.8 12.7
3.4 11.8
