For sale is a Mid-America cue lathe take-off setup that I recently removed while upgrading my machine.

Includes:

• Mid-America Basic Series Headstock
• 0.593” (15mm) spindle bore
• Mid-America 3-jaw scroll chuck
• 250 watt motor
• Manual speed controller

Everything is used and in working condition. These parts were removed from my lathe as part of an upgrade, not because of any problem.

The setup is clean and has been well cared for. It would be a good option for:

• cue repair
• shaft and ferrule work
• backup parts
• a second bench setup
• someone putting together a Mid-America based repair lathe

The Basic headstock is the standard-bore Mid-America unit designed for tip-end shaft pass-through work, and the 3-jaw chuck fits this headstock style. Mid-America currently sells the Basic headstock and chuck separately new, so this is a good way to get into a working setup for less.
