This wkends event at Action Billiards in St. Louis, MO is sure to be packed full of talent again. The only downside is that some of the players from south won't be here w/the concurrent tournemnt in MS. I wish I was going down there to check out that ring game, but instead I'll be at the tourny at Action. I'll keep you guys updated on who's there and who's winning along w/any major action (if/when it happens).

well after the first couple rounds of the tourny, the players are out in numbers. 56 players including Jason Kirkwood, Brandon Ashcroft, Andy Quinn, Tony Fargo, Tyler Strawn, Jerry Terbrock, Keven Gabriel and Little Andy to name a few. Very strong field but lacking the pro names normally there.
it's little andy friedenhoffen originally from Springfield, MO but moved to the mecca...Tulsa, OK. Little Pat was there, but wasn't playing, said he gave up pool again! who knows what this kid is doing. i'm headed back up there in a few hours to see what happened late last nite (i won 2 lost 2).
one of the first round matchups last nite pitted Lars Vardaman against Jason Kirkwood. Ashcraft offered a side bet of 500 and was willing to give neone in the place 3 games if they bet on Lars. no takers that i know of. final score was 9-6 kirkwood. another first round was kevin gabrial against ashcraft....ashcraft won 9-4. tyler strawn faced off against st. louisian az jay pettlon (19th at derby city), strawn beat him 9-5. Little Andy was playing Fargo late last nite, get the rest of the results when i get home tonight
