I have yet to me Mr Massey, but from what I've heard he's a great guy both on and off the table. Everytime I see him on TV he's always smiling, in a good mood and appears to display a high quality of sportsmanship to both the fans and his opponent. Have many of you had a face to face conversation with Mr Massey, is he like this off the cameras also? Attached is a photo from the Mid West Expo.
Thanks,
Zim

He is the BEST represenative for pool out there. I met him a few times and seen his show a few times too. He does a spin shot with his hand. He puts a ball on the foot rail with just enough room for a ball to get by......then stands at the other end and spins the cueball around the ball.....and it hooks behind the ball cloase to the rail....and goes in the other corner. One of the nicest guys in pool!

And if that works for him that is great. Tommy Kennedy is the same way......I use to watch Tommy gamble with Scotty Townsend and others. But these days Tommy doesn't do these things anymore.........What ever works......Good for them!

I remember him “way back when”. I was playing someone in the practice room at a tournament (I think at the Stardust) and in walked this long-haired kid. He went to an open table and took one shot. He rolled an object ball down the table and made a wing shot one-handed with the cue stick over his left shoulder, then walked out of the room. “Who was that?” I asked. “Hippie Mike”, was the answer. Now that was an impressive trick shot!

Don't be a jerk, Bruin70. Mike is a genteman and an asset to the sport. What's next? Will you accuse him of stealing someone else's trick shots?

If Mike wanted to, he could easily crumple you into a small sphere and spin your butt into the corner pocket. Remember, he's at least twice your size.
